Roll down hurricane shutters
ROLL DOWNS

Roll shutters are commonly referred to as roll up or rolling shutters. When installed correctly, they form a protective curtain with both sides inserted into guide rails. To operate, the shutter is rolled up onto an axle protected by a durable aluminum housing. Roll down shutters can be manual or electric depending on the size of the opening. Manual systems require a crank and medium force depending on the size of the opening and can be ideal for hard to reach windows high up. Our electric roll downs close at the touch of a button. Florida code requires 2-3 inches of glass separation depending on the width of the opening. Our roll-down shutters have been engineered to meet the most stringent wind codes in the country and have been reviewed and accepted by the Miami-Dade County product control division, Florida Building Code, and the International Building Code
