Our Lexan/Aluminum/steel panels are a fully removable storm shutter system that provide excellent protection for most style/size openings. Storage requirements are minimal as they all sit inside of each other. Most panel installations are on homes that are secured for the entire hurricane season due to the fact there is a process to shut down and secure each window. The beauty of all panel systems is that they leave minimal trace when not in use. Florida code requires from 1.5 – 2.4 inches of separation between the glass and the panels once installed. Our panel shutters have been engineered to meet the most stringent wind codes in the country and have been reviewed and accepted by the Miami-Dade County product control division, Florida Building Code, and the International Building Code.

10 panels stack to approximately 1 inch in depth. All panels are cut to 14” in width and the length depends on the opening height.

Panels attach to the home with either removable tracks or stainless steel screws that attach directly to the wall.

The lexan panels are the only clear panel option allowing light in. Their maximum length according to their product approval limits the use of them to windows mainly.

Galvanized Steel panels are the most cost effective panel system and come only in mill finish.

Aluminum panels are double powder coated in white and are lightweight. These are most client’s choice and are priced slightly more than the steel panels.
